Developing and fostering relationships is as crucial to our new Business Development Representative, Ethan Gross, as his sustainability efforts to make the world a little greener! Join us in welcoming Ethan to the Virtual Peaker team!
How did your previous life prepare you for Virtual Peaker?
Both personally and professionally, I’ve always had a focus on relationship building and helping others as much as I can. Being able to help others on such a large scale, as Virtual Peaker does, was a natural fit for me, and I look forward to making an impact in each interaction I have.
Tell us about your role at Virtual Peaker.
In my role as a Business Development Representative, I meet with potential clients and focus on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. I get to be the first point of contact in the relationship-building process. I work to find out all I can about where a client is currently, what pain points they may have, and make the introduction to all that Virtual Peaker has to offer.
How do you personally engage in sustainability efforts?
I engage in sustainability efforts in my everyday life by doing what I can, whether that be recycling, taking public transportation, using reusable water bottles, shopping local or hitting up the farmers market each weekend with my wife. I also participate in beach cleanups every time I’m visiting my family, who live a block off the beach. I tend to take the approach of leaving things better than I found them.
What can you tell us about yourself?
I spent a lot of my life moving around and feel I’ve taken pieces of each location to make me who I am today. A love for the beach from my time in NC, a love for the outdoors from being in WV, good food and drink from living right outside two major cities (NYC and Chicago), and a general love for my family and friends. Outside of all that, I’m a big music fan, book guy, and for some reason, I continue to golf as much as possible despite lacking the needed skills.
