Farmers Electric Cooperative recently evaluated its thermostat demand response program and began looking for opportunities to increase the program’s value. Using Virtual Peaker Shift DERMS Suite, Farmers Electric:

- Expanded their demand response program from summer only to a year-round program

The challenge: Device and program restrictions limited the ability to react to increasing volatility in the ERCOT market, and miss reduction savings from the wholesale market.
