Virtual Peaker Helps GMP Build First-in-the-Nation Back-Up Battery

Virtual Peaker played a key role in helping Green Mountain Power (GMP) establish the Vermont State House as the first in the country to have clean backup battery power. Working with an innovative team of business and government leaders, we provided the software that makes it easy for GMP to manage the new State House battery. We’re always looking for ways to help utilities increase their renewable energy portfolios, and we expect that this collaboration is the first of many large-scale battery installation projects to come.

To find out more about the Vermont State House battery project, watch the virtual press conference. Virtual Peaker founder and CEO Bill Burke shares his enthusiasm and his thoughts about the venture at the 14:30 mark.
