Client Solutions Implementation Lead
Virtual Peaker is looking for a Client Solutions Implementation Lead that will help solve the climate crisis by supporting our mission of building the utility of the future. The intermittent nature of wind and solar energy make it much harder for electric utilities to keep the grid in balance. Renewable energy is going to save humanity, and Virtual Peaker is part of the solution.
Job Description
As the Client Solutions Implementation Lead you will lead the implementation and delivery of new program and product launches with Virtual Peaker clients. This role requires strong project management skills, client relationship management expertise, and experience with SaaS solutions. As the primary point of contact for clients with demand response (DR) and virtual power plant (VPP) needs, you will be responsible for ensuring that programs are executed accurately, on time, and meet clients expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full implementation process for new programs and product features for clients, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Understand client business objectives and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Provide ongoing program management support, including customer enrollment, incentive tracking, reporting, and demand response event dispatch, as needed.
- Develop strong, long-lasting client relationships by providing exceptional service and support throughout the implementation process.
- Proactively improve delivery processes and documentation.
- Deliver on implementation KPIs.
Project Management Duties
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment on goals and requirements.
- Oversee each client implementation from kickoff to final delivery, ensuring timely delivery of all project milestones.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams (Client Solutions, Product, Engineering) to clarify requirements, address challenges, and keep projects on track.
- Maintain regular communication with clients by providing project updates and promptly addressing questions or concerns.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
- Experience in program management, customer service, training or teaching, tech support, or combination thereof
- Experience with Google Suite, Slack, and other online collaboration tools
- Understanding of utilities, clean energy and grid modernization issues, including DERs is preferred, but not required
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
- A collaborative and growth-oriented mindset that thrives when quickly learning new things
- Willingness to travel as needed
