As our team continues to grow, we felt it was important to begin introducing its newest members. Committed to customer engagement, the first(!) of our Q&A series is with our new Client Success Manager, Sasha Ndlovu!
What did you do before joining Virtual Peaker?
I’ve always been fascinated by how things work and how they’re interconnected. That’s why I think my most recent position—at a nonprofit in Louisville that partners with local residents to attract new businesses and revitalize communities—provided the perfect training for me to join the innovative and problem-solving team at Virtual Peaker.
What’s your role at Virtual Peaker?
As the client success manager, I’m one of the first points of customer engagement for Virtual Peaker clients. I help manage their platforms so they don’t have to think about them, and I bring our team together to map out how we can help our clients reach their goals. As an example, we recently rolled out the development team’s new SMS feature that makes it simple for utilities to share program information directly with their customers. This new feature also gives those same customers what they want most—options, convenience, and reliability.
What else can you share?
I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and my last name—Ndlovu—is the Zulu word for elephant. I moved to Dallas with my family as a child, so I’m comfortable having one foot each in different worlds. I think that my varied background really helps me to both contribute to the growth of the Virtual Peaker team while at the same time being an advocate for the goals of our clients.
Five days a week, you can find me sweating at my boot camp gym. When I’m not pushing myself there, I love to bake and share sweet creations with friends. They tell me that my award-winning strawberry cheesecake is the perfect treat after a grueling workout!
