How did your previous life prepare you for Virtual Peaker?

My design career has spanned over a decade with a focus on branding, marketing, graphic design, and product design. Before joining Virtual Peaker, for most of my career, I’ve designed for iGaming and sports betting platforms. It’s a fast and competitive market that has taught me to move quickly and adjust at a moment’s notice while always advocating for quality design and the best user experience in the market. Primarily, I was responsible for wor

king cross-functionally with brand, product, development, operations, and marketing teams to implement new and cutting-edge product features to enhance the overall platform and brand experience. Given these “previous life experiences,” I’m well positioned to hit the ground running with Virtual Peaker to help craft the greener, sustainability-focused grid of the future!

Tell us about your role at Virtual Peaker.

As the Senior Product Designer at Virtual Peaker, my primary goal is to provide a seamless experience for clients and users of the Virtual Peaker platform. Through strong collaboration and teamwork, I work to ensure a superior user experience and high-quality design across all of our applications.

How do you personally engage in sustainability efforts?

My sustainability efforts include recycling responsibly and exploring avenues to thoughtfully add solar power and green roof technology to our 1950s mid-century modern Louisville home. I’m intrigued by Virtual Peaker’s sustainability ethos and eco-friendly culture and look forward to supporting these efforts.

What can you tell us about yourself?

I was born and raised in Mississippi and moved to Louisville upon graduation from The University of Mississippi. I’m married to my high-school sweetheart and we have two amazing sons… and two adorable English Bulldogs. Outside the office, I enjoy visiting Cherokee Park and exploring Louisville’s fantastic food scene, while also rooting for my beloved Ole Miss Rebels and Kentucky Wildcats – Hotty Toddy and Go Big Blue!
