Team Q&A: Drew Stevens – Senior Account Manager
Our Senior Account Manager Drew Stevens cares about sustainability, whether that’s in his efforts to reduce energy and recycle or helping our utility partners realize the power of sustainability through one of our many demand flexibility program solutions. Join us in welcoming Drew to the Virtual Peaker team!
How did your previous life prepare you for Virtual Peaker?
My previous experiences have equipped me with a diverse skill set and ability to drive results for our clients and Virtual Peaker. My passion is to help others achieve their goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across teams. I have been fortunate to work with great teams on critical projects across several industries. This has given me valuable insights that I am excited to apply to contribute effectively to Virtual Peaker’s mission of helping utilities decentralize, digitize, and decarbonize so that together we can help save the planet.
Tell us about your role at Virtual Peaker.
As a Senior Account Manager, my primary goal is to work with our current clients to ensure they are getting the most from Virtual Peaker and are accomplishing their goals with our solution. We collaborate with them to align on their strategic initiatives and then work tactically with their program and operations teams to deliver results that work towards those goals. With that, I also get the opportunity to collaborate closely with the other teams at Virtual Peaker to ensure alignment and drive collective success. It is such a fun role that allows me to interact with several teams on both sides.
How do you personally engage in sustainability efforts?
I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of a company with such a great mission. I have already learned a lot in my short time with the internal collaboration and initiatives at Virtual Peaker on how I can improve and grow outside of work with sustainability. Currently, I do my best to reduce energy consumption at home, recycle, support local farmers’ markets, and walk as much as I can. I am committed and excited to learn more about how I can minimize my environmental footprint and promote sustainable living habits within my community.
What can you tell us about yourself?
I love being outside with my family and doggos exploring different parks, events, local shops, and new restaurants. I recently started running and enjoy checking out the city with different routes, while also trying out some of the local races. I like to be on the go trying out new things with my family. Also, I am a big fan of a few different teams that I follow closely. (Kentucky Wildcats, Denver Broncos, and Cincinnati Reds!)
