Please join me in welcoming our newest Virtual Peaker team member, Cameron Minch!
What did you do before joining Virtual Peaker?
Since completing my bachelor’s degree and MBA at the University of Kentucky, I’ve worked primarily in the construction industry. I’m excited to join Virtual Peaker because the company’s sustainability focus encourages me to meld my academic, work, and personal experiences. I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin, participating in the 4-H Club, so I’ve always looked for ways to responsibly steward the land, reduce our collective carbon footprint, and have a positive impact on the community.
Also, I’m a real details and numbers person: I tend to geek out with spreadsheets. Plus, I enjoy creating a strong sense of organization and visual appeal when building PowerPoints or creating other presentation materials.
What’s your role at Virtual Peaker?
I’m joining the Virtual Peaker team as a client success manager. We onboard new clients, walking them through the product development process until launch and then providing ongoing services for our customers. Given my interests in data analytics and presentation materials, I’m updating our online portfolio of supporting documents and FAQs to help create seamless and successful software integrations for our clients.
What else can you share?
When I’m not playing with spreadsheets, our two dogs (a German shepherd and a Husky mix) and two cats (a domestic short hair and a long hair mixed with a Maine Coon) keep us busy. My husband Trent and I walk the dogs in the Bernheim Forest, which is south of Louisville and near our home.
I love learning new skills, and I’m an avid DIY’er at home. I recently made a boot bench to organize and store things in our mudroom, and I’m investigating how to build a fireplace. But I also enjoy exploring beyond the hearth and home, including a study abroad trip to Iceland where I saw my first glacier up close.
