The Glasgow Electric Plant Board (GEPB) in Glasgow, KY set out to create an integrated smart device program to reduce energy costs for its residents. As part of the TVA Smart Energy Technology (SET) program, The GEPB installed thermostats, water heaters and residential battery systems to a select group of roughly 330 residents for utility control.
